Workability Development Worker
Offaly Local Development CLG has received funding through the WorkAbility Inclusive Pathways to Employment Programme (ensuring people with disabilities are fully supported to find and maintain employment) to deliver the programme in Offaly until 31st December 2028.
Offaly Local Development Company is seeking to recruit for the following position:
DEVELOPMENT WORKER X 2
The persons appointed in this role will recruit participants, develop action plans, organise necessary supports to assist participants in reaching their agreed goals and to gain employment. Identify employers, work collaboratively with employers and agencies to secure employment, assist participants during their transition into employment and continue support for their retention in employment.
The successful applicants will have experience in both working with and providing relevant supports and services to people with disabilities, have experience of working with employers, strong networking and communication skills and will hold a relevant qualification.
