Moneygall Community Garden
Moneygall Community Garden came from a genuine interest is health and sustainable living in the rural community. This group applied for and developed a large indoor and outdoor growing area at the back of the soccer field. This group meet weekly and encourage any member of the community to join with them in a weekly work plan that yields much freshly grown produce locally. A huge variety of vegetables are on offer throughout the growing season and the expertise of the green fingered is shared amongst all members. The group undertake training courses both on and offsite. The produce is used by the volunteers and all excess is sold locally through private customers or local shop in Dunkerin.
