Offaly Healthy Homes Project

Offaly Healthy Homes works to provide a Meals on Wheels service across South and West Offaly as well as providing social spaces for people to enjoy a meal together. All of this work is carried out in conjunction with three community kitchen partners, Kilcomac, Ballycumber and Shinrone all of whom are also social enterprises. Offaly Healthy Homes operates with the goal of keeping people living independently in their own homes for as long as possible, in some cases this means bringing meals to the door for people who aren’t out and about and in other cases it’s about bringing people together in a central place and working to combat social isolation.
