Homefix is social enterprise that provides a minor home repair service to people aged 65 or more in the communities of West and South Offaly. Homefix are also agents for the senior alert scheme and installation of smoke alarms for county council. Homefix workers develop a key relationship with their many regular customers and are on hand to help with day-to-day emergencies when they arise. Homefix used all of their contacts and connections to ensure that their customers stayed safe and comfortable during the Covid crisis, providing a friendly call and shopping service for customers that couldn’t leave their houses while cocooning.
