Spotlight a Social Enterprise !
This week's Offaly - based social enterprise is St Mary's Youth & Community Centre, based in Tullamore Town, which is about providing a safe environment for young people of the area to meet in an atmosphere which encourages them to develop as mature adults. They seek to empower young people to develop their talents through games, musical productions, group interaction, competitions, debating, trips etc. Under the guidance of a core voluntary group of leaders. While youth is the priority St Mary's is also available to various community and sporting groups.
