The last MenPower programme of 2023 is due to start on Wednesday, September 20th. The group will operate on Wednesdays (10-1) and Thursdays (10-2) for period of 12 weeks from Millennium House. Attached, please find a referral form, graduate statement and a poster that gives an outline of the of the programme.
The programme encourages men to make positive changes to their lives. Men are given the opportunity to develop their mental and physical fitness, to find purpose, to make connections, reduce stress and anxiety and improve their overall self-esteem. The programme is delivered face to face and includes a mix of group work, individual work, physical activity, social space and signposting to external supports and services. Participation on this programme is free and social welfare benefits will not be affected. Refreshments and a light lunch are also provided.
