Capturing Offaly
The Capturing Offaly project was launched in November 2023, with the goal of building upon the pride and appreciation held by the people of Offaly for their locality and capturing that through photography. A series of ‘walk and talk’ workshops are being facilitated in different locations across the county by OLDC staff, alongside local photographer and Business Development Programme graduate, Tom O’Hanlon.
We are currently working towards creating a community-built calendar, to be launched at the end of 2024, and need your photos showcasing Offaly at its best! Twelve submissions will be chosen for the calendar, which will have pride of place in homes, community spaces and businesses across Offaly, for the year 2025.

Closing date for submissions is Friday August 30th 2024.
Please note this project is targeted at beginners and hobbyists and no monetary prize is offered, however a token of appreciation will be given. Please submit any questions or queries to capturingoffaly@gmail.com
