HSE Midlands Resource Office for Suicide Prevention offers training programmes on an on-going basis with a view to facilitating individuals and professional staff to increase their awareness, skills and confidence in the areas of suicide prevention and understanding self-harm.

The following services are also available to provide support to anyone who has unfortunately been bereaved through suicide:

In conjunction with Pieta House, a Suicide Bereavement Liaison Service is available to provide practical help and support to individuals, families and other persons who have been bereaved through suicide. The Liaison Officer is available to meet with a bereaved family (at their request) as a group or individually. Midlands Living Links provide a support and listening service to those who have been bereaved by suicide. The Support Co-Ordinator is Rita Madden and she can be contacted on 086-1600641
