Mental Health First Aid teaches people how to help and support someone that may be experiencing mental health difficulties and how to encourage them to seek appropriate help. This is an evidence based programme and topics covered include Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis and Alcohol/Substance Misuse. Places are being funded by the HSE (valued at €300 per person). Upon completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance and the Mental Health First Aid Manual; a comprehensive resource which can significantly enhance people’s knowledge on this subject.
