A conference entitled Creating Economic and Business Opportunities from Climate Change will be held on 9th October 2019 in the Tullamore Court Hotel, in Offaly. The conference will focus particularly on small and medium enterprises and explores how climate change adaptation and mitigation can effectively drive innovation and create business opportunities. This conference is linked to Actions of the MREP 2020, National Adaptation Framework 2018 and the recently published, All of Government Climate Action Plan - to tackle Climate Breakdown.
The conference partners comprise the Midlands Regional Enterprise Office, Offaly County Council & the Eastern and Midlands Climate Action Regional Office (CARO).
