Within the four counties of the HSE Midlands (Laois, Offaly, Longford and Westmeath), a number of events are scheduled to be held to highlight the importance of this work.

Ecumenical Services of Remembrance and Hope will be held in the following locations on Wednesday 10th September, 2014 @ 7.30 p.m.:

- The Church of the Assumption, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
- Christ the King Cathedral, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath

The Services of Remembrance and Hope will be an opportunity for people to come together as a community with the aim of creating awareness for suicide prevention, to support those who have been bereaved by suicide and to give a message of hope for the future.
